1. [Mixed] A Text Mining Approach from Visitor and Museum Perspectives: Sensory Cues as Innovative Tools for Promoting Inclusivity (Belgium, 04/2024 – Current)
- Conducted in-depth interviews with experts, managers, curators across diverse art museums
- Collected, organized, and analyzed textual data from diverse sources, using natural language processing techniques (Python) and content analysis
- Offered unique solutions to optimize visitor experiences and support museums in fulfilling their socio-cultural responsibility to promote inclusivity
2. [Quantitative] Less Is as Effective as More: Cross-Cultural Analysis of Background Music and Scent Effects on Behavioural Intention via Experiences and Perceived Learning (Belgium/China, 12/2022 – 03/2024)
- Designed and conducted a cross-cultural study (n=492) comparing sensory engagement in exhibitions among Chinese and Belgian university students (collaborated with Shanghai University and Hasselt Universiteit)
- Developed exhibition prototypes (8 different formats), integrating multisensory elements to test their impact on visitor experience, learning, and behavioral intention.
- Designed semi-structured surveys and conducted pretests to select representative paintings and congruent music and scents for the 8 experimental exhibitions.
- Utilized a customized PROCESS macro for SPSS to test models, examining relevant mediators and moderators

4. [Quantitative] Traditional vs. Immersive Exhibitions: Sensory Intensity Effects on Visitor Satisfaction via Visitor Attention and Visitor Experience (Belgium, 12/2021 – 11/2022)
- Collaborated with the cultural industry, including Create.eu Company and museums
- Designed structured surveys, conducted pilot studies, and collected data on exhibitions such as "Lights on Van Eyck" in Ghent, Breughel Hall at the Museum voor Schone Kunsten (MSK) in Ghent, and "Meet the Masters" in Brussels
- Tested the proposed model using SPSS, employing independent t-tests and a customized PROCESS macro
