Agnieszka Kurant has worked at the European Parliament for 19 years, previously serving as an adviser on political and legislative matters to Members of the Polish Delegation in EPP Group.

In 2015, she joined DG LINC as a communication adviser and was responsible for building an inclusive internal communication strategy and to organise outreach activities to foster team cohesion across the many different populations of conference professionals in the DG, and to promote best practices related to meetings with interpretation.

Since 2020 she manages Multilingual Remote Meetings Service transformed into Remote Conference Services Unit in October 2021. Since the onset of the pandemic, her team enabled more than 12 500 meetings with multilingual remote participation and interpretation in the European Parliament.

Manages Remote Conference Services Unit at DG LINC.

Recruited, trained and mentored a team of 45 MRP coordinators, moderators, IT specialists, who provide multilingual remote participation (MRP) support to remote speakers, remote interpreters (RSI), as well as organisers of the parliamentary meetings and events in the European Parliament.

Defined and implemented necessary workflows to enable hybrid meetings in the European Parliament, develops new services and processes related to multilingual hybrid meetings.

In cooperation with the provider co-leads efforts to continually improve the MRP platform with user friendly and innovative features.

Manages and contributes to projects aiming at streamlining MRP and RSI in meetings in the EP.

Devises and contributes to outreach and communication activities aiming at improving user's experience with MRP, including initiatives related to client liaison and support to speakers.

Cooperates with interpreters in the framework of Technical Working Group on initiatives aimed at improving sound quality in hybrid meetings with interpretation

Monitors and contributes the department's budgetary planning and expenditure.

Co-leads work on the first inter-parliamentary joint procurement procedure to contract the EU multilingual Videoconferencing system - participation of 31 chambers from 25 Member States confirmed.
