As an 8-year-old, I got my first game console. Pong. From that moment onward, I was bitten by the software microbe, something that would grow into a passion and later on into a profession lasting to this very day.
I come from a (game) testing and test management experience and grew into more agile and project roles about 12 years ago.
This was driven by both the need and desire to gain a deeper understanding of the different dynamics in teams and between teams, of the need for quality and continuous improvement, of the the ability to deliver on time and within budget.
This is why I have worked in and explored different environments: e-Learning platforms, finance and healthcare applications, telecom client portals; PC and mobile games or medical engineering software.
This domain diversity has also allowed me to experience all layers in an organization from down in the trenches with the teams up to project or transformation roadmaps with leadership groups.
As a Scrum Lead at Nike's ELC, I work cross-team and cross role supporting my teams and the delivery centers that work 24/7 to stay ahead of the game throughout EMEA.
In my case, this means a focus on applying the what and how of the Nike agile way of working to teams that do not develop software but instead work on big projects involving hardware and vendors building and optimizing the flow of the delivery centers themselves.
As a Scrum Lead, I will:
