Working before the General Secretariat of the Belgian Data Protection Authorities were my main tasks were treatement of prior consultations before the Belgian DPA (art. 36 GDPR), treatement of data breaches (art. 33 & 34 GDPR) which includes preliminary assessment of potential breaches and suggesting ways forward (so called Direction Comité notes), providing legal advice regarding new legislative texts (digital package, NIS2,...), providing legal advice regarding specific subjects (public access to documents within the Belgian scope), providing help to other services within the Belgian Data Protection Authority (First Line Service, Inspection Service, litigation chamber), representative for the Belgian DPA in the TECH-ESG within the EDPB.
