  • Co-chair of the Cultural Affairs Committee (CAC) during the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (2nd semester of 2024).
  • Actively participated in the preparation and implementation of the Presidency's programme in the field of cultural policy, established the agendas of the CAC meetings.
  • Highly contributed to the drawing and finalisation of the Council Conclusions on improving and fostering access to culture as well as to the success of the expert conference organised in Budapest in the same topic (18-20 September 2024).
  • Coordinated the work with the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation and in cultural heritage and architectural policy matters with the Ministry of Construction and Transport.
  • Established strong diplomatic and cordial personal relationships with partners from the Member States, the European Commission, the European External Action Service and international professional organisations.

  • Started my work in 1995 in the Ministry of Culture and Public education as desk officer in charge of European cultural and audiovisual affairs (EU, CoE).
  • Organised the 8th conference of CoE cultural ministers held in Budapest in October 1996 (themes: European film production and distribution, protection of audiovisual heritage, young people and the cinema).
  • Coordinated the Hungarian participation in cultural Community Programmes (Ariane, Raphael, Kaleidoscope).
  • Between 1998-2006, I worked for the Ministry of National Cultural Heritage (legal successor of the previous ministry) as Counsellor in charge of EU affairs. I was promoted Honorary Chief Counsellor in 2006.
  • Between 1998-2004, I participated in the accession negotiations (acquis screening) and in the preparatory work of Hungary's accession to the EU in the field of culture and audiovisual policy.
  • Decorated with the Knight Cross of the Order of the Hungarian Republic (May 2004) in recognition of the governmental work accomplished for the preparation of Hungary’s accession to the European Union and its functioning as a Member State.
  • In the Ministry of Education and Culture set up in 2006, I was appointed Head of Unit in 2009 in charge of multilateral cultural affairs, participated in the preparatory work of the 2011 Hungarian EU Presidency and coordinated the related tasks in the field of cultural policy.
  • Ensured the supervision of the national implementation of the EU Culture programme and Culture 2000 programme, established the Hungarian coordination desks (Culture Point, MEDIA Desk).
  • Memberships:

- Representative of Hungary in the Steering Committee on Media and New Communication Services (CDMC) of the Council of Europe

- Representative of Hungary in the Culture Committee called later Steering Committee for Culture (CDCULT) of the Council of Europe

- Representative of Hungary in the Management Committee of the EU Culture programme and Culture 2000 programme.
