Valeria Kozhukhova

I'm Valeria Kozhukhova, also known as Valeria Ko, a passionate artist based in Berlin, born in 1990. With over 20 years of experience in fine arts, my primary focus is on figurative semi-realistic art, though I continually explore new directions to refine my skills.

For more than a decade, I have worked as a freelancer, taking on diverse projects such as painting commissions, murals, commercial illustrations, covers, and more. While watercolor and digital art are my main mediums, I enjoy experimenting with various forms and occasionally offer workshops and art consultations.

• StartArt residency, 05/05/24 - 01/06/24, Porto, Portugal, I worked on two mural projects, managing the entire process from concept development to completion. Both murals were located inside a villa. The first mural, approximately 12 x 3 meters, was painted on a wall in the basement, while the second mural, approximately 3 x 2 meters, was created on a bedroom wall.
• Open Ateliers Zuidoost, 05/01/18 - 07/31/18, Amsterdam, Netherlands,Worked on a personal project consisting of three canvases and various sketches. The series explored the experiences of women using dating apps, capturing different moods—anticipation before the date, conversations during chatting, and reflections after meeting a stranger. The works were presented at a residency exhibition.
• AGA LAB, 09/01/17 - 11/30/17, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Completed screen printing projects on both paper and textiles. Designed and created a capsule collection of t-shirts featuring handmade silkscreen prints.
