Summary
Passionate about epidemiology and public health systems, I've dedicated three years to impactful research at the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Vietnam. Actively engaging in a spectrum of epidemiological and public health studies, my work included vital initiatives such as COVID-19 case tracking, sero-surveillance, and surveys targeting HIV, human papillomavirus (HPV), and sexually transmitted infections. These surveys focused on high-risk populations, including female sex workers, men who have sex with men, and people who inject drugs.
Now, I am studying Master of Epidemiology and eager to bring my expertise to an internship where I can continue making meaningful contributions to research and policy in public health, particularly for vulnerable populations

- Enhance strong evidences by researching for studies related to HPV vaccine immune response in different groups, doses and timing of vaccination
- Recruited 60 female sex workers participated in study to evaluate immunogenicity and protection of HPV vaccine
- Developed comprehensive investigation plan in Hai Phong Province one of the major female sex workers sites
- Interviewing participants about their risk sexual behaviors.

- Conducted 400 quantitative surveys and 15 qualitative on healthcare staff in 2 largest hospitals in the North of Vietnam

- Discussed with epidemiologists from The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Vietnam (USCDC) to develop hypotheses about the first resource of infection and the process of transmission.
