After completing my first MSc in Glasgow developing an understanding of Transnational Justice and Law, I rediscovered my passion for Psychology and returned to my roots. I then completed an MSc in Mental Health Psychology while having our two beautiful children. I then continued my studies to qualify in Canada as a Psychotherapist by completing my MA in Counseling Psychotherapy. I currently run a clinic and provide psychotherapeutic support for our clients across Canada. I hope to return to academia to continue research in Psychology.

International Wellbeing Centre, Jakarta, 06/19 to 12/19, I volunteered with the treatment and rehabilitation processes of clients with a variety of mental health issues, namely anxiety and cultural assimilation. Under supervision, my clients ranged from teenagers to adults whose nationalities varied widely including Western, Asian, and Australian.
I have lived in 13 different countries (in Africa, Europe, and Asia) and, therefore, have become very skilled at adapting to my surroundings and absorbing the cultures around me. In addition, I have spent most of my free time pursuing my passion for helping those around me. This has meant working in peer counseling during my years in undergraduate university, interning at the European Union in Indonesia, and pursuing a career in Psychotherapy. I am also a mother to two young children and wife to a husband whose career has taken us around the world.
