• Coordinate and perform accounting operations for the legal entity under responsibility. Started with an Italian entity, currently responsible for one entity in the UK.
• Being the entity financial representative providing support to other local stakeholders whenever required (i.e.: Managing director, legal department, HSE, Controlling, HR….).
• Generated monthly and quarterly financial statements following IFRS standards for executive review.
• Collaborated with external auditors during the annual audit process to provide necessary documentation and address any concerns or findings promptly.
• Prepared the entity Financial statements following local GAAP.
• Coordinated efforts with other departments to ensure accuracy in interdepartmental transactions recording and proper cost allocation to anticipate financial consequences of main events & risks and provide input to ensure protecting Balance sheet value.
• Integration of a team of specialist to prepare the financial impacts of the separation of Solvay into two independent companies, the new Solvay and Syensqo.

Responsible for a team of 12 people, that were managing the accounting operations of around 33 companies in EMEA (namely PT, ES, UK, IT and FI).
