Description : Carpenter wants to know where the data is coming from for all the reports created and saved in the Power BI Service. Therefore they asked me to create a reporting catalog. This catalog shows the data sources, datasets and dataflows of each report.

Description :

Making a TS-code and contracts report in Power BI. The data comes from SAP ByDesign
and is loaded in a SQL server. In the SQL server the data is transformed and some views
are made to join tables and shape the data. At last the data is loaded in Power BI to gain
insight and visualize the data.

Description :

The purpose of this project is to extract data from SAP S/4 Hana public cloud and load it
in Power bi to make financial reporting. First I made some Custom CDS views in SAP S/4
Hana to get the data form the HANA-Database. Then this data is loaded in a SQL sever.
The SQL server is used to shape the data, connect different CDS views with each other
and for currency conversion. When the data is shaped correctly the data is loaded in
Power BI. In Power BI it is important to make a good data model and then start to make
the report to gain insights of the financial data.

Description :

Allinox is a one-stop-shop specialized in selling kitchenware worldwide. The company
aims to gain more insights into the sales figures of the organization. For this purpose,
reports are created in Power BI. They specifically want to gain an understanding of the
margin per sales office. For this project security plays also an important part. Row level
security is used to make sure every user only sees the data he needs access to.
