- Scott expertly balanced essential work and demanding timelines unseen since the end of the Cold War by optimizing his short-staffed branch. Protecting his strained staff, he covered vacancy and new work himself instead of further impacting his personnel.
- Scott executed a nuclear education plan for the NATO Military Committee's 3-star Military Reps & their staffs. He revamped the Nuclear Policy Course to address today's new security environment, including adversary strategies. He developed & implemented a framework to advance Finland & Sweden's nuclear training prior to their official membership.
- Recognized by the NATO Secretary General with the NATO Meritorious Service Medal for his leadership and unprecedented advancements positively impacting the Alliances deterrence and defense.
