Description :

Safety BI project mainly focuses on providing the visually immersive high-end long term BI solutions that combine subsets of data from multiple systems & repositories, to provide the consolidated views that capture the data insights from an advance to a granular level. These insights are stage in various formats that can be easily interrogated by the business - users. The target audience covering the major sectors of the organizations, (Pharma, Consumer, Cross-Sector & Medical Devices).

Responsibilities :

• Led the development of the End-to-End BI Application suites harboring different tech-platforms (PowerApps, SharePoint, Power BI) that facilitates the business with faster data entry process to ensure on time submissions - efficient & secured data storage - highly interactive and user - friendly data visualization & further analysis.
• Developed POCs for each report/dashboard requirements for discussions with both Internal & external Stakeholders (Product Owners, Leaderships, Distributors and customers).
• Competent in building navigational and visually immersive reports/dashboards in Power BI desktop and for ensuring the data stats accuracy, integrated those with complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations, logics & showcased via custom visuals.
• Embedded Power BI reports on the SharePoint Portal Page and managed the accesses via approval based SSO at an organizational Level.
• Written complex SQL query structures using stored procedures, views, physical tables, common table expressions (CETs) to create and support Power BI and SSRS reports.

Project : Proctor & Gamble (P&G) - Atlas

Description :

P&G's new forecasting processes focused on the continuous improvement of the Material Price. The new processes were presented as the summarized Power BI and SSRS reports, titled as P&G - Atlas Reporting App which was developed using the Agile methodology. SQL Server 2016 DB served as the data repository for the app.

Role & Responsibilities :

• Developed a long term BI reporting solution suite - (Power BI Service App) containing 14 Power BI reports, encompassing the forecasted financial data stats for fixed and variable contracts and P&G consumer goods marketing logistics.
• Successfully written complex SQL query structures using stored procedures, views, physical tables, common table expressions (CETs) to optimize the source queries output performance from 12 minutes to 30 seconds.
• Data modeled the forecast paginated reports in Star-Schema using Mixed Storage (Dual Mode) architecture (Power BI) where the current data was queried & fetched via Direct Query Mode and archived data was stored using the Import connectivity Mode.
• Efficient in implementing all stages of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and DWH (Data Warehouse) concepts in a project.
• Built an integrity sync flow between the Power BI Services & SQL Server 2016 Source views via PBI Gateways to facilitate scheduled refreshes jobs on a daily and weekly basis for the reports.

Project : NETS A/S

Description :

NETS A/S is a Payment Service Provider Organization. The NETS GOVERNANCE Team, was responsible for providing the productivity measures of all levels that falls directly under the hierarchy of Nets CIO.

For the 5 major Tracks of the organization - Finance, Resource, Transition, Agility & Quality with other associated factors, 5 dashboards representing the vital progressive index information were built using Agile approach in Power BI technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supported & worked on the gatherings of the business requirement from the business and cost-estimate & benefit analysis plans.
• Designed & created the 5 dashboards under the guidance of senior team members, by extensively using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions.
• Develop ETL data flow processes for data extraction from the source system, to staging, relational & dimensional data models.
• Analyzed & recommended virtual machine specifications to optimize data loading & processing in Power BI Services.
• Automated & Scheduled refreshes in control BI service.

Description:

The project dealt with the acknowledging and providing deliverables as per the client’s business requirements. The team’s responsibility was to resolve the LongView 7 based tickets raised by the clients/users in EIS – System within a given deadline along with routinely tasks. On an additional part, the Power BI dashboards & reports were developed and published as per the client’s requirements on the network – services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Analyzed and resolved the business users tickets per the problem statements.
• Executed the LongView 7 routinely tasks such as generating weekly/monthly Finance & Actuals Operational Reports.
