Got promoted in the project and currently on deputation at client location in Belgium. While BASE was acquired by parent company Telenet and I got new role of IT Operations engineer. My key roles are to automate day to day tasks and scripts by using Job Scheduling tool like Automic UC4, keep things alive in the Production environment by continuous monitoring of agent based tools Dynatrace and OBM, coordinating with developers and Testers for bug fixing. Me and my team are responsible for the deployment for every new release on at least 5 Non production environments before its finally gets live on Production environment which is done by onsite engineers including me using various deployment tools.
BASE Mobile 05/2015 - 06/2019
Telecom Worked as L2 application support for Belgian Telecom giant BASE formerly known as KPNG. Right from server monitoring to the deployment of new codes and releases in the backend and front applications. Got knowledge of CI/CD tools in this project and nurtured my technical skills and found a roadmap to DevOps and IT ops engineering in the project.
Bell Canada - 11/2011 - 2015
Fixed Line Telephony Worked as a technical support engineer for Bell Canada where avtivation of customers were done using legacy linux framework and scripts. Got ample knowledge of unix basics in this project.
