• Analyze the requirements from the latest operator specification ex : D.Book,Ebook and DVB-I Specifications etc
• Based on the latest requirement create the test cases for CI plus/DVB-I
• Develop the automation test cases by using python/ Java script

Key responsibilities:

• Created the test cases as per customer requirements
• Tested FTA features (AV decoding, TV/Radio Service list, EPG, Teletext, Subtitle, etc.,)
• Tested the full functionality tuning (Satellite search, Blind scan and TP scan)
• Tested different video stream types (MPEG2 SD/HD and MPEG4 SD/HD) and audio stream types (MPEGI LII, AAC, HE-AAC, AC3 and AC3+).
• Validated PVR [USB (FAT32/NTFS Format)] features (Recording, recording playback, Event Timer recording, Wakeup Timer, Timeshift recording, standby recording, Subtitle & Multi audio recording)
• Tested the Irdeto CAS test cases according to the SUN Irdeto specification and got the acceptance

• Validated full PVR features [Dual recording, Recording playback, Event Timer recording, Subtitle & Multi audio recording, EPG event recording, JPEG Decoding]
• Prepared the test cases for the PVR recording and JPEG playback functionality
• Done the Stress and Stability testing and given a successful production release to the customer
