Gained strong technical foundation in core discipline of Production Operations by having exposed to roles such as BIMMS Field Supervisor, Operations Support Engineer, Production Lead BW and currently as a Production Lead SIBS, MM, CN and CW.

Demonstrated vast experience as Operation Support (previous role), proposing, defining and execution new good ideas to optimize the system in most areas. Developing in the AMS ESP space, being nominated as SPFP and currently as SPO. Groomed to be OIM in the next development role, closing in the gaps as a stand in OIM currently.

Operations Production Lead

  • Act as the main interface with production support, operations support and onshore teams and issues the Daily Operating Instruction to the frontline shift team incorporating a balance of activities to ensure achievement of the Asset's oil and gas production, water injection, reliability, availability and quality targets aligned with the Integrated Production Plan (IPP).
  • Operate and maintain wells, facilities & pipelines in line with operating philosophies and approved operating envelopes. Ensure barrier compliance for ensuring pipeline integrity.
  • Ensure day-to-day activities are in compliance with WRFM practice table and minimum requirements (e.g. sampling, well testing, well integrity tests). Interface daily with production programming, process and optimization team to deliver real-time optimization.
  • Responsible for the collection and reporting of validated data for internal and accounting purposes. Maintain standard documentation for the assigned location(s) including work instructions, drawings, and other safety critical documentation
  • Ensure Safe Production site expertise, leading good Operating practices through management of registers, situational awareness, Managing abnormal situations, proactive operator monitoring, shift handovers, manage limit and alarms and overrides and Ensure Plan delivery.
  • Drive improvement in proactive operator monitoring at site.
  • Appointed as the Site Super User (SSU) to manage and ensure compliance towards ESP - Ensure safe production process as well as drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage Threats and opportunities of facilities, ensuring bad actors are understood via causal reasoning and threats and opportunities escalated for maintenance and engineering support.
  • Support turnaround operations with DFPV procedures review and isolation preparation and review and permit readiness.

Onshore Support Engineer

Production System Management of respective production area:

  • Support operationalization of WRFM Practice Tables (Daily production reviews, Annual facility reviews, PSO reviews, Annual field reviews).
  • Drive multi-disciplinary and end-to-end integration to execute WRFM opportunities.

Forecast, Plan Production & Operationalise the Production Plan of respective production area:

  • Optimise the IPP and ensure alignment with activity owners on focus of resources and activities on meeting production target.
  • Communicate the IPP with all stakeholders, including offshore teams to ensure readiness to meet plan. Responsible for Operationalisation and optimisation of the production plan as per the VST-IPP by coordination with front-line and execution teams. VST includes collating data for Daily Production Review (DPR), day-to-day activity and production optimization. Daily and weekly lookahead activity planning and coordination, plant trip reporting, production figure revalidation and reporting.
  • Provide input into the IAP, (ST and MT) includes current year activity and production optimization, field and well production performance monitoring, production system optimization collaboration
  • Highlight potential barriers that could prevent the production area from meeting its production.


Perform Hydrocarbon and Energy Accounting (PHEA):

  • Ensure well testing compliance & drive well testing facilities reinstatement.
  • Ensure well sampling and data acquisition compliance by operations team.
  • Ensure correct collation and analysis of production, GHG, flaring and energy utilisation data, ensuring correct procedures are followed and continuously improved.
  • Ensure deferment is monitored and reported accurately and validated with the correct global deferment codes.
  • Work closely with Metering and HCA to resolve any ambiguity in production/emissions measurements and accounting.

Field Operation Supervisor

Safety Leadership:

  • Meet agreed Health, Safety and Environmental targets and to execute actions detailed in the Asset HSE Plan. Execute activities in line with HSE-MS, HSE case and ISO14001 requirements.
  • Support On Scene Commander for emergencies / Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) team member.
  • Conduct own LOD1 assurance activities as well as support compliance to LOD1 audits and HSSE Assurance plan, and follow up on relevant audit actions. Host audits as required.
  • Build strong HSSE culture though visible safety leadership (on site 50% of time), interventions, safety time outs and practicing Pause. Follow incident reporting protocol, and ensure investigations are completed as required and any actions are uploaded to SPHERA.


Production Operations & WRFM Excellence

  • Safely Manage the Asset Unit's operations resources and activities on a day to day basis to ensure achievement of the Asset’s oil and gas production, water injection, chemical injection, reliability, availability and quality targets aligned with the integrated Production Plan (IPP).
  • Ensure operation of equipment & wells within defined limit, and respond when excursions from the operating envelope occur. Responsible for barrier compliance for safeguarding pipeline integrity.
  • Work with PCC and onshore operations support to optimise production set points in response to customer needs and overall production levels. Ensure proactive monitoring, log keeping, raising notifications, reporting of faults and conditions, troubleshooting to manage threats to production.
  • Ensure activities of Daily Operating Instructions are executed effectively.
  • Ensure day-to-day activities are in compliance with WRFM practice table and minimum requirements (e.g. sampling, well testing, well integrity tests)
  • Ensure submission of quality 5 causual questions to reliability team in event of trips and threats identification to proactively manage production threats.
  • Ensure collection and reporting of validated data for internal and accounting purposes and collection and reporting of necessary documentation
  • Manage cumulative risks by participating in risk assessments for deviations and MOCs raising, providing input to deviation raising and MOC raising as well as ensuring that mitigations are executed as specified.
  • Maintain critical operational registers (LO/LC, passing valve registers, temporary repair registers, etc)
  • Ensure operations team comply with all Work Instructions and conduct regularly reviews for assurance of compliance within team. Manage communication of any procedure/policy/standard changes within the crew
  • Provides first line technical Production and Engineering support to Field Operations Team, e.g. operability studies, trouble shooting of process problems, trouble shooting of equipment problems, input in operating and maintenance philosophies and input in operating and maintenance work instructions. Initiates process optimisation studies/services in order to maximise efficiency of installed process equipment in the Area. Provides Operations input into Engineering projects and conceptual designs, COSCs, reviews front-end designs and ergonomics.
  • Act as Operations focal point for HAZID,HAZOP,QRA,EIA, technical reviews and pre-start up audits.
