Having grown up in London, English was the magical language I fell in love with. A graduate in English Literature from Tehran University, I am a passionate and dedicated teacher committed to maximizing student potential through engaging instruction and strong classroom management. With a natural ability to connect, inspire, and lead, I strive to foster curiosity, broaden horizons, and consistently exceed academic expectations.
As a volunteer teacher at this center I:
I have 6 published novels (English to Farsi) through Porteghaal Publications; all of which have been republished at least ten times; the record being a translation of The War That Saved My Life republished more than 30 times. Four have won prestigious Iranian translation awards. I have received many many letters from teenagers who have written to tell me about how the books have moved them, or given them new goals in life.
This language school is a sub-branch of University of Tehran.
In two years only, I was promoted from teaching General English to adults to instructing pre-TOEFL classes.
