Maryna Ozirska

I started working on this project with an open mindset, knowing that I would need to learn and adapt my capabilities to the project's needs by learning React Native. This was my first introduction to daily standups, which I really enjoyed from a collaborative perspective. I participated in the project planning and setup from scratch. My main task was to develop a mobile application with React Native and integrate it with Appwrite, using an existing backend hosted in a Docker container.

I joined BeCode to gain experience in a real working environment through collaboration with my peers, while enhancing my development capabilities. We began with an introduction to software versioning by learning Git and GitHub. Then, we progressed to frontend development, learning JavaScript and creating real projects using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Following this, we moved on to backend development with Node.js and Express.js, working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Finally, we started working with the frontend framework React.

Working as a babysitter, I had the opportunity to improve my communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as my creativity, by organizing various activities for the children.
