Responsible for Quality Assurance, Food Safety & Regulatory in 10 factories throughout Europe

• Leading & coaching the local quality & food safety teams
• Defining and implementing the quality strategy in the business unit
• Full budget responsibility
• Taking the lead in crisis management situations
• Implementing and maintaining quality & regulatory standards
• Defining & following up on KPIs
• Creating a continuous improvement & quality culture throughout the organization
• Leading discussions with key customers
• Representing quality in the business unit management team, contributing to the overall business strategy
• Reporting to the VP Quality & Business Unit VP

• Responsible for Quality and Food Safety in the world’s largest chocolate factory
• Defining and implementing a high-performance quality strategy for the plant
• Management of day to day quality operations from incoming raw materials to finished product: including microbiological, analytical and sensory labs, customer & regulatory audits, complaint management, subcontractor management, service supplier auditing, customer support and crisis management
• Initiating and leading continuous improvement projects
• Leading a team of 27FTE (of which 8 direct reports)
• Full budget responsibility
• Member of the plant management team.

• Responsible for Quality and Safety for Neuhaus (Vlezenbeek) and Corné Port Royal (Wavre)
• Responsible for implementation of BRC and IFS certification
• Leading & coaching the Quality and Safety team at both production sites (5 people)
• Close cooperation with production, marketing and logistics departments.

• End responsibility for quality and R&D for all Neuhaus products
• End responsibility for safety for the production site in Vlezenbeek and Belgian stores
• Coaching the Quality, R&D and Safety team (5 people)
• Coordination of all tasks, and organization and management of larger projects
• Responsible for the implementation of new labelling legislation (FIC).

• High-level strategic consulting projects
• Main sector experience: healthcare (pharma and medical devices), financial services (payment cards and commercial banking) and transport/logistics
• Main topic experience: operational effectiveness, supply chain, cost reduction, definition of strategic directions, and stakeholder management
• International experience: projects in U.S (New York) and Malaysia.

• Project lead for development of margarine & fat products for industrial customers
• Technical support for customers
• Organising and giving trainings to colleagues and customers
• In addition to this, working as project leader for larger projects.
