• Starting in 2018, the focus was more on security: implementation of new solutions, Proofpoint for email security, and Office 365 ATP for endpoint; migration of Cisco VoIP to Office 365, including MS Teams, AVI, and Vmware Loadbalancing.
• 2017 : we set up security audits with pentests, improved our SOC, and established a strategy regarding GDPR. We also started Security Awareness Trainings in all European sites, in collaboration with the audit department.
• 2015 - 2017 : RFP Datacenter migration Verizon to BT and Wan migrations of the mpls backbone and network related services + implementation
• Job as team lead evolved more to implementation of processes and management team, budget planning, and project planning.
• Communication and security reporting with Japan (KLTD), integration of new sites in the Komatsu Europe environment
• 2015 : set up of a Siem solution (Qradar IBM) and the set-up of an internal SOC (Security Operating Center) , with support of an external Soc.
• 2013 - 2014: Management of critical network and security projects, for example: migrations of PBX to Cisco Call Manager VoIP system, migration of Checkpoint firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls, setting up remote access systems, and URL filtering systems.
• 2013 : Management of NSC (Network, Security, Collaboration) as Team Leader under European Infrastructure manager : started as a local network team and moved to an integrated European NSC team of 6 people. Tasks evolved from network team to tasks like active directory, Office 365 suite, Cloud services, and security tasks.

• 2010: Started as consultant of Intelco and outsourced to T-systems with the goal to become an MPLS backbone engineer in Munich for T-Systems.
• The first day, I had to go to Komatsu for emergency reasons to network survival situation at Komatsu
• After two years, the contract was taken over by Komatsu.
• Started with managing network at Komatsu Vilvoorde including managing Checkpoint firewalls, proxies, Wi-Fi, HP switches, ... and moved more and more with increase of responsabilities. My internal job was building a network/security team withing Komatsu Europe.
