- The key tasks consist of the following: implementing, improving and updating internal policies, guidelines, procedures and other support tools to assist businesses in carrying out a consistent approach to privacy compliance, developing and implementing mechanisms to ensure regional data and system inventories are accurate, up-to-date and accessible; ensuring filing, permit and record keeping requirements are met at local level; supporting internal teams on the assessment of potential privacy risks of new products, services or projects (PIAs), and the development of improvements and controls to mitigate identified risks (e.g., access controls, contractual safeguards); ensuring data subject requests are handled in a consistent and compliant manner throughout the Europe region by establishing internal mechanisms and procedures to receive, assess, escalate and respond to such requests on a timely basis, and to document and reporting these activities; managing a network of local privacy coordinators, creating and maintaining training and communication programs, general and for specific audience, to increase awareness of applicable policies and the understanding of the regulatory requirements
