QA Lab Ass. CAR-T

Johnson & Johnson
05.2024 - Current
  • Spokesperson Critical Reagens
  • SME role in flow cytometry & sterility testing
  • Execute timely assigned periodic quality oversight activities such as quality tours, witnessing and audits
  • Analyze timely and in depth investigations (LIR, NC), CAPA to ensure delivering qualitative products for patients
  • Participate in TIER1/2 and actively work on good communication with supervisors, managers, trainers and analysts
  • Review timely and efficiently GMP/GTP documents (procedures, protocols and reports)
  • Take active role in problem solving
  • Connect with different stakeholders, like method experts, critical reagens team, analysts, ELM team, investigator coordinators...
  • Be a CAR-T ambassador by actively participating and presenting during connect moments (visits, townhalls, QC collaboration, quality month)

Scientist

Johnson & Johnson
10.2011 - 05.2024
  • Succesfully led and organized Phase0 study: this study included evaluation of responses of 30 chronic HBV donors versus 20 healthy donors towards different TLR agonists.
  • Wrote research papers, technical reports to support IB (including PK/PD), electronic labnote book reports.
  • Supported early development team by generating data from in-licensed TLR compound. Presented data and conclusion to early development team.
  • Collaborated with statisticians and programmers to streamline cytokine analysis from different platforms (ELISA, luminex, mesocale) (cytokine analysis tool).
  • Collaborated with CRO's and gave input in design of experiments and followed up on results.
  • Compared T-cell responses of chronic HBV patients with resolvers. This included troubleshooting of data generated by CRO, attending follow-up meetings, re-analysis of data together with statistical department, presenting findings to management.
  • Assay-lead in bispecific program: development of killing assays; leading of colleague to evaluate binding of bispecifics on target cells.
  • Developed different primary cellular assays to support candidate TLR (small molecule) agonist program.
  • Trained new employees/students on areas of technical expertise and compliance issues relevant to lab setting.
  • Member of TLR7/8 project team. Interactions with toxicologists, chemists, PK scientists.

Associate Scientist

Tibotec
03.2008 - 09.2011
  • Developed IFN-alpha screening assay with primary blood cells to test activity of TLR agonists.
  • Actively participated in finding alternatives to ELISA to detect IFN-alpha.
  • Brought in expertise of working with primary cells and flow cytometry (peripheral blood mononuclear cells, PBMC).
  • Developed primary cell-based assays to find and characterize TLR agonist small molecules.
  • Scouted good source of human blood, organized blood supply for all Tibotec lab technicians.
  • Remained up-to-date with flow cytometry: attended various courses.
  • Documented changes during experiments, noting unexpected issues arising during research activities.

Researcher

Innogenetics/Genimmune
04.2001 - 02.2008
  • Developed primary cell-based assay to evaluate tolerizing agens and adjuvants in dendritic cell-based assay (flow cytometry, ELISA)
  • Compared responses between PBMC from Rheumatoid Arthritis patients versus PBMC from
healthy donors by ELISPOT after stimulation with various potential autoantigens (ELISPOT)
  • Set-up a collagen-induced arthritis model in mice
