Tijdens mijn loopbaan bewandelde ik uiteenlopende paden : ik werkte binnen de cultuursector als productiemedewerker, voltooide een bachelor lager onderwijs en stond in meerdere scholen als klas-en zorgleerkracht. Vanuit een grote passie voor mensen en hun zoektocht naar zelfrealisatie, begon ik in een september 2022 aan een opleiding tot therapeut-coach. Binnen deze studie, koester ik een specifieke fascinatie voor het opleidingsonderdeel ‘lichaamswerk’. Door het leren stilstaan, gronden, luisteren naar wat mijn lichaam allemaal vertelt, is mijn trauma-rugzak al een heel stuk lichter geworden. Daarom is mijn missie als therapeut-coach om mensen opnieuw thuis te laten komen in hun lijf, zodat ze kunnen leren ervaren welke klare taal het spreekt. Ik ben mij verder aan het verdiepen en mijn specialisatie is 'de felt sense' volgens de 'polyvagaal theorie'. Met kennis vergaren zal ik nooit ophouden.
In alles wat ik deed en doe is mijn insteek positief : als gretige denker en grote liefhebber van de durvers onder ons, bekrachtig ik via mijn coachingswerk graag mensen die hun dromen (willen) leven.

Ik ben een harde werker, die zich ergens in vastbijt tot de klus geklaard is. Ik kan goed zowel zelfstandig als in een team functioneren, waarbij de voorkeur ligt op een hecht team. Ik ben technisch onderbouwd, en deins niet terug voor een uitdaging. In een rol met een coördinerend karakter kom ik het best tot mijn recht, en ik krijg energie om het beste uit het team te halen. Ik hou van uitdagingen, aangezien deze mij motiveren om nét dat beetje extra te geven. Het liefst sta ik in nauw contact met de werkvloer. Mijn hands-on aanpak maakt mij een effectieve werknemer.

I see myself as a positive and dependable individual who has and values integrity. People say that I have a distinct passion for people. Whether in a group, team, or one-on-one setting, I believe that you treat others in the way you would like to be treated, and that comes down to a great attitude, followed by action and a smile. I like to think that I'm very flexible and resourceful. In my work history, my schedules were constantly changing, so I needed to be highly adaptable. Having had military training, I believe I'm time conscientious and disciplined, and a proactive team player. Thanks to my years of experience, I'm very particular about the details of my work, but I like to stay open-minded to new ideas. In short, as I continue to learn new things daily, I seek out and embrace opportunities to demonstrate a servant's heart.
