Currently, I am working as a student at Lex4u, a law firm specializing in business law, data protection (GDPR), and new technologies. This experience allows me to be directly involved in drafting various legal documents, such as contracts, legal opinions, and advisory notes, while enhancing my skills in legal research and legislative and case law analysis. I also have the opportunity to closely observe legal consulting practices and collaborate with experienced lawyers on complex cases, particularly in regulatory compliance and digital law.
I had the opportunity to accompany Mr. Don Juan Ignacio Sanz, Prosecutor of the King at the Juzgado de Guardia de Detenidos in Madrid, as well as Ms. Doña Monica Gonzalez Sanz, Prosecutor at the Provincial Court of Madrid in the 'Disability and Guardianship' section. This experience allowed me to closely observe the Spanish judicial system, deepen my knowledge of criminal law and the legal protection of vulnerable individuals, and attend high-level hearings and judicial proceedings.
I had the opportunity to participate in the Salzburg Summer School, a leading program in comparative law, bringing together international experts.Through roundtable discussions and specialized workshops, we explored current legal topics such as the relationship between law and languages, legislative harmonization, and the drafting of a civil code. This immersive experience allowed me to deepen my expertise in comparative law within a prestigious academic environment.
I completed a specialized course on digital contracts, focusing on the key legal aspects of their formation and potential challenges. The program also covered legal decisions made by artificial intelligence, as well as issues related to data security, privacy, and cybercrime. This training provided me with in-depth knowledge of the legal challenges in the digital sphere and their practical implications.
I participated in the WELS Prague academic program, an immersive training combining lectures, workshops, and interactive visits, including a tour of DLA Piper law firm and a startup specializing in VR, AR, and the metaverse. This program provided me with intermediate-level knowledge in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, guided by esteemed experts in the field. Key topics covered included AI and cybersecurity regulations, the AI Act, criminal liability of AI, data protection on social media, and emerging cyber threats. A particular focus was placed on the practical use of AI in the legal field through a dedicated workshop.
I had the opportunity to undertake two observational internships at the law firm Legacity, under the supervision of Maître Gaëlle Nile, who specializes in employment law and commercial law. These experiences allowed me to gain a deep understanding of legal practices, particularly in the areas of labor relations and commercial law, and to observe the internal workings of a law firm. I also had the chance to attend legal consultations and participate in team meetings, thereby enriching my academic training with valuable practical experience.
