Elin De Wilde

This is my last and current job. I went trough the selection of the ocean club

job interviews and ended up getting a job as a supervisor/waiter in their

newest business. This was quit an accompilshment for me because all of

the other waiters working for ocean club are older then me. The CEO took

my job interview and saw potential in me and so I got the chance to work

for one of the best and most famous clubs in Marbella. Here I am mastering

my service skills and languages to top level. Learning from waiters who

have worked all over the world and learning what pleases the typ of clients

who come here. Every day I just work really hard to get myself to the top

level of hospitality. Working my second year here I notice I'm getting to a level that a lot clients come to the place for me or only want to be served by me. This gives me great fulfillment and shows me that all the hard work over the past years is rewarding me.

dI worked here for 5 months to bridge my winter. I knew the manager and he asked me to come work forhimpromesing me mea lot of responsibilty to geto imrove my overall hoisospitalty skills. I really llearned a lot here and got to know more about the managing part of a restaurant. After the fiv months fivethey offered me to stay but i went back to Marbella to start the knee new sseason there.

I started working in this restaurant when I was 17 years old. When I became

19 I started working here fulltime. I learnt all aspects of the hospitality

industry here. I spent months behind the bar, six months in the kitchen and

mostly in the venue. I did all these different positions because whenever

there was a staff shortage I filled the vacant position temporarily. This is

because the boss knows that I am very flexible and like to learn new skills. I

was also able to perfect my social skills here, learning to assess how to talk

to which person. I also learned how to serve a large number of tables

perfectly. This is a restaurant where I have spent a lot of time in the last four

years of my life and got me to loving hospitality.

I took this additional job in this Golf club for a year in 2024. I learned to work

in a sometimes very chaotic environment and to deal with a big wave of

people coming in at the same time. After a few months the boss asked my

to become his service manager but I rejected this because I liked my main

job better.
