My name is Elena and I am a 25 year old about to finish my History of art degree. Before finishing my degree i wanted to take my time travelling and discovering new cultures. The first time I had a glance of living abroad was during my third year of university when I applied for an Erasmus scholarship in the University of Jaguiellonsky in Krakow, Poland. Once I was there, I had the best experience getting to know how the polish culture works and its incredible history. After this, my hunger for exploring new countries just kept growing, until I decided to leave everything and go to London to improve my english level. Learning languages is my passion and when I had the opportunity to go and explore this new city I could not say "no".
As I said before learning languages is something important for me, therefore my next challenge for me was to improve my french. I decided to move to Brussels, Belgium, to strengthen my french level while I worked as an aupair. I wouldn't say it's an easy job, but the thing I like the most is seeing how the children learn from you and appreciate the effort that you make to understand their needs. I'm also a tutor and I have worked as an assistant's teacher in a summer school. This jobs not only have taught me patience, but also how to be responsible, professional, confident and self demanding to give the best I have to the students. As much as I love teaching, what I aspire the most is to be able to work in the world of art. I'm always fascinated when I read about new artists or when something about an old painting is discovered. Don't let my inexperience in this field scare you, I'm very passionate about the things I love and always willing to learn new skills.
