09.2020 - Current
- Representing Hungary at meetings of the Trade Questions Working Group (WPTQ), as well as at related expert meetings. Working with screening of inbound and outbound foreign investments and handling trade matters related to textile, steel and other industrial sectors. During the Hungarian Presidency in 2024, I acted as Chair of this Working Party.
- Representing Hungary in the working group dealing with European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Working on EU-Swiss relations, EU-EEA relations as well as relations with Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra, Faroe Islands and the Holy See. During the Hungarian Presidency in 2024, I acted as Chair of this Working Party.
- Expert in the Economic Security Network established by the European Commission, a high-level forum for advising, developing, and discussing policy and strategy to safeguard the EU’s economic interests. I contribute expert insights on geopolitical risks, strategic dependencies, and resilience in supply chains, investment screening, and technology protection.
- Representing Hungary in the committee dealing with safeguard measures.
- I represented Hungary at the meetings of the services and investment formation (TPC-SI) of the Trade Policy Committee, as well as at related expert meetings and worked on Investment Protection Agreements as well as on the Modernization of the Energy Charter Treaty.

- I gained substantial experience in diplomacy and bilateral and multinational negotiations across diverse legal and political systems. Served as lead negotiator for bilateral investment protection treaties between Hungary and a range of third countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, Kosovo, Montenegro, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
- Represented Hungary in international investment dispute settlement (ISDS) reform processes, including the ICSID Rules and UNCITRAL Working Group III. Acted on behalf of Hungary in negotiating the plurilateral agreement for the termination of intra-EU bilateral investment treaties.
- Participated at the meetings of the services and investment formation (TPC-SI) of the Trade Policy Committee.
- In addition, I prepared daily background documents, reports, legislative acts, economic analyses and provided legal and strategic policy advice on international trade law and investment policy in alignment with Hungary’s foreign economic interests.
