Monitor EU energy and climate files relevant to Fortum strategy, build related lobbying strategies and conduct EU advocacy
Inform Fortum management team on key EU files including legal analysis and impact assessment on the company (EU Taxonomy, Green and low-carbon hydrogen, market design)
Advise on reputation management and political communication
Active in Eurelectric as sherpa of Fortum CEO (in his capacity as Vice-President of the association) and Vice-Chair of Eurelectric Markets Committee
Build positions and advocate Eurelectric views towards institutional stakeholders inc organising networking events
Manage the activities of the Energy Policies and Generation Committee and related Working Group and lead a team of four persons
Main files: security of supply, policy and regulatory requirements of specific technologies such as RES, thermal generation, CCS, network codes, etc
Build proactive lobbying strategies aimed at integrating electricity markets and adapting them to the growing volumes of variable generation
Manage the activities of the Markets Committee and related Working Groups and lead a team of five persons
Represent Eurelectric towards the European institutions (inc the European Electricity Regulatory Forum) and organise networking events
Main files: IEM legislative files, market design, network codes, financial regulation
Draft legal notes and provide advice to Eurelectric structure of expertise
Provide legal assistance to the Working Group Legal Affairs
Monitor EC activities plus draft notes and positions
Organise and prepare meetings of Working Groups
Organise events and networking activities
Provide information on EC activities and funding
Write articles in local business magazines
