Golden Projects

CUPS Solutions Success in EMEA

During the initial CUPS rollout for EMEA customers, significant challenges led to rollbacks, reducing trust in Cisco. As a Technical Leader, I formed a "tiger team" with Engineering, Sales, and local Cisco teams. Through weekly sessions, we identified and solved issues, developing labs and automations for troubleshooting. Our efforts restored customer confidence, enabling successful CUPS migrations across EMEA and setting a standard for 5G solutions.

Pioneering 5G and 4G Lab Environments

I created the first 5G lab for the Technical Assistance Center using Cisco VIRL and Ansible automation. Initially seen as unfeasible, these scalable labs were globally adopted to replicate customer issues. Collaborating with colleagues, we developed a unified CUPS topology repository. Our labs enabled accurate simulations, establishing the EMEA TAC team as a leader within Cisco, earning awards and commendations.

Resolving VF-UK MME Outages

Facing significant MME outages at VF-UK due to End-of-Life software, I led efforts to simulate the issue in our lab and developed a solution. This proactive approach prevented major reputational damage for Vodafone and Cisco.
